Support of Tzu Chi’s 30th anniversary environmental programme

Radium Joins Tzu Chi Malaysia in Celebrating 30 Years of Environmental Stewardship

Radium – alongside fellow business partners, volunteers, and members of the public – was proud to support Tzu Chi Malaysia in its ‘Go Green, Go Plogging’ initiative in celebration of 30 years of environmentalism. Plogging, a community activity that combines light exercise with litter collection. It was a refreshing and meaningful experience that reminded us how powerful small steps can be when taken together.

Radium’s connection with Tzu Chi goes back some time. The organisation operates a community recycling centre at Residensi Teratai, a space contributed by Platinum Victory (PV), a related company of Radium. This shared commitment to environmental responsibility reflects the values that both organisations champion – care for the planet, compassion for the community, and the belief that every effort matters.

Within Radium, we have also begun strengthening our sustainability practices. Our office now incorporates recycling stations with dedicated bins, helping staff cultivate daily habits that reduce waste. Moving forward, Radium aims to adopt the 5Rs – Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, and Recycle – principles that can be applied not only at the workplace, but also in our homes and personal routines.

Participating in the plogging event was a meaningful reminder that environmental stewardship doesn’t always require grand gestures. Sometimes, it starts with a single action: picking up a piece of litter, choosing to reuse instead of discard, or making a mindful decision to reduce waste. When done consistently and collectively, these small choices pave the way for real, lasting change.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Tzu Chi Malaysia for including us in this important milestone. It reinforces our belief that sustainability is a shared responsibility, and that together, we can continue ‘Building Good’ for our communities and our planet.
